Khorvatov told the Vedomosti newspaper about MLM schemes and “digital dubers”, Rossiyskaya Gazeta gave an interview about his program “Geniuses of Finance” and the training of 1,500,000 people, readers of Nezavisimaya Gazeta learned about the Private Investor Academy.
Novaya Gazeta , Interfax , the Finam investment company , Ekho Moskvy radio devoted air to Khovratov ‘s old business – string transport, which he was engaged in at Skyway.
Often clients are called to Khovratov by friends or acquaintances. Valery Petrov, Vice-President of the Russian Association of the Crypto-Industry, was noticed at the seminars of the Academy of a Private Investor. This is the former head of Ingosstrakh Investments Management Company and a member of the VTB Supervisory Board. Many believed in the assurances of a respected financier, who hardly knew where he spoke. The rest of the seminar participants were without regalia and known for promoting the dubious company Skyway. Among them, for example, blogger Armand Murnieks , who even promoted this project in Vietnam.
In the courses, students are persuaded to invest millions in WCRU crypto tokens at 5% per month in dollars. Money is simply collected in cash at the Moscow City office, the contract is strictly in electronic form. Clients are convinced that money is allegedly instantly exchanged online for cryptocurrency through their own payment system Global Unit Pay (partners Bank Frick from Liechtenstein, Railsbank and Ibanera from Latvia) or on the website of the MLM company Evorich. The client is also registered on their own crypto- exchange unitex.one , but there is no trading on the purchased tokens. As a result, the client receives an asset that cannot be sold or returned for money.
Clients are unhappy. As a result of training and investment, numerous appeals were filed with law enforcement agencies. However, this happened with other well-known financial companies – Finiko, QBF or Life is good.
People on the other side of the globe, in New Zealand, also faced a similar problem. Local newspapers report thousands of participants in a dubious scheme with the WCRU token, where they collect money from people in an MLM scheme. The financial regulator of New Zealand issued another warning about the dubious activities of Khovratov’s MLM project Evorich, which sells tokens. A group of “fans” of his business has also formed on Facebook , who believe that the money will not be returned.
New Zealanders across the country (Auckland, Otago, Dunedin, Taurangi, New Plymouth) were attracted to tokens using MLM schemes. Numerous victims asked the local media for help, as funds could not be collected. Evorich’s New Zealand promoters earn about 10% of the funds raised, with fees typically starting at $1,000. The geography of Khovratov’s Skyway victims , however, was no less – there were complaints from customers not only in the CIS, but also in Australia, Wales, Italy and other countries.
What are investors from all over the world investing in? It turned out that the main assets of the WCRU token are backed by strange businesses, for example, projects such as “Digital Doubles” for $11 billion and “Private Investor Academy” with a valuation of almost $7 billion. All little-known projects are valued at $22.5 billion. Companies of this size are difficult not notice, and their owner could be among the billionaires. But most businessmen and financiers are hearing about companies for the first time.
Most likely, the high valuation of these businesses is due to their lack of transparency. Allegedly, it was carried out by the American appraiser Crowe, but the very form of the report posted on Khovratov’s website does not at all resemble the original reports of the company from Chicago.
Khovratov’s site also looks clumsy. For example, the homepage of his global company’s website misspelled the word “investment.”
But who is Horvatov and why do naive investors from all over the world trust him? The site says that he is a “genius of finance”, but this does not follow from his biography.
The media posted a biography of Khorvatov , according to which he does not have a higher education. He just graduated from high school, served in the army and took Kyiv forex courses. He does not indicate any large and well-known private company. Does not indicate the previous place of work – the company Skyway. According to clients, Khorvatov was born and lived mainly in large Ukrainian cities – Odessa, Kyiv and Donetsk.
The Ukrainian “genius of finance” was allegedly awarded numerous medals – the Order of the non-existent Federal Statistical Service of Russia, State Duma and Financial Times awards. But it was not possible to find information about this on the website of the English newspaper and the State Duma .
On the other hand, a video has been posted on the network, where the Ukrainian Khovratov, in the corridor of the State Duma, talks about the encyclopedia “100 Outstanding Leaders of Russia”, in which he was personally included.
This encyclopedia was published by Corresponding Member of the International Social Academy of Sciences (MOAS), an employee of the magazine “My Moscow” Vera Boldycheva, and the encyclopedia’s board of trustees includes State Duma deputy Elena Vtorygina (then from Just Russia). She helped organize the event in the State Duma.
The project is highly questionable. The website of the Moscow Academy of Sciences is no longer working , but there are quite definite comments on the activities of the academy on the forums . If you believe them, then she did not hand out titles, thanks and awards for free. For example, the staff of the Scientology Center of St. Petersburg received a commendation “For the Improvement of the Russian Land” from her ; its leader also received the honorary title of Corresponding Member of the MOAN.
No less unique is the list of awardees. Khorvatov was placed between politician Irina Khakamada and sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, and just below cosmonaut Yurchikhin was another prominent Russian figure, Skyway co-organizer and native of Belarus Anatoly Yunitskiy.
One more detail draws attention. Not far from Patriarch Kirill and Vladimir Putin in the same list of “outstanding figures” is Roman Vasilenko, the head of the financial pyramid Life is good (“Hermes”, LCD Best Way). He also received his copy of the encyclopedia from the State Duma. Vasilenko was included not only in this list – his companies were included in the list of pyramid schemes of the Bank of Russia. The Central Bank even turned to law enforcement agencies about Vasilenko’s activities, and prosecutors blocked his website.
Khorvatov could use a similar approach in promoting at Skyway
Khorvatov could use a similar approach in promoting at Skyway. But instead of awards in the State Duma, the advertising used the image of President Putin.
Skyway founders report that Putin is talking about their project
The rest of Khorvatov regalia are also doubtful. It is not difficult to become a member of the “General of the World” project: for example, the cost of the status of a peacekeeper with a certificate is only $150.
In the same organization, Khorvatov was given the orders “Dove of Peace” and “Medal on Guard of Peace”.
Khorvatov was even presented with awards in a general’s uniform.
Only one question remains: why were the real generals not interested in the Ukrainian “financial genius”? It is possible that someone will be given a real title or order for this.
