Craig Shawn Williamson’s ResClub investment scheme has collapsed.

Following ResClub, Williamson has gone on to launch 8ghtX and GoBingo For Hunger.

BehindMLM reviewed ResClub in September 2022. While we weren’t 100% on ResClub being a Ponzi scheme, it was a clear-cut case of securities fraud.

ResClub saw Williamson solicit minimum $5000 investments on the promise of up to 18% annually.

Returns were purportedly generated through real-estate deals, however ResClub never filed any audited financial reports.

Today ResClub’s “myresclub.com” website domain is disabled. ResClub’s other website domain, “resclub.com”, redirects to something called 8ghtX.

A May 4th “phase out notice” explains ResClub will “continue to pay returns to its investors through the term out [sic] their investments” (click to enlarge):

8ghtX operates from the domain (“8ghtx.com”), privately registered on July 26th, 2023.

Links on 8ghtX’s website are mostly broken:

  • “earn” redirects to “8ghtm.com” and is non-functional
  • “learn” redirects to “8hgtu.com” and is 8ght University
  • “invest” redirects to “8ghti.com” and is non-functional
  • “borrow” redirects to “8ghtx.com” (i.e. the link is broken)

8ght University but it just seems to be a marketing aid.

Discover the transformative power of 8ght University, a comprehensive online learning platform that equips students with the tools necessary to become someone capable of wealth and guide you to build a successful business through 8ght powered companies.

Naturally “invest” on 8ghtX’s website caught my attention. As per 8ghtX’s app listing on Google play;

The 8ghtX App is a first of it’s kind banking platform and investment syndication hub wrapped into one sleek interface.

You can make deposits, withdrawals, investments, collect dividends, transfer funds and exchange crypto 24/7, 365 days a year!

Screenshots of the 8ghtX app reveal it is a continuation of the securities fraud Cright Williamson started with ResClub:

GoBingo For Hunger is a mash up of online gaming (gambling) and charity.

GoBingo For Hunger’s compensation plan however sees affiliates “donate” money to the company. This qualifies them to earn a cut of donations made by subsequently recruited affiliates.

  • you donate $30 or more to GoBingo Hunger
  • you recruit at least two affiliates who do the same (must maintain at least one donation every 90 days)
  • you get 20% of first donations
  • 50% of 20% of second and subsequent donations are paid up two levels of recruitment, 75% (of 50% of 20%) to the recruiting affiliate and 25% to whoever recruited them
  • the other 50% of 20% is paid out residually via a binary compensation structure

Playing bingo seems to be completely separate from GoBingo For Hunger’s MLM opportunity.

Interestingly when I clicked through to GoBingo For Hunger from ResClub’s official FaceBook page, I was auto placed in Peter Jensen’s GoBingo For Hunger downline:

Jensen was ResClub’s VP of Global Sales.

With nothing being marketed or sold to retail customers, GoBingo For Hunger operates as a pyramid scheme.

Of the two schemes, 8ghtX appears to be the direct reboot of ResClub’s securities fraud.

Although it’s marketed on ResClub’s now defunct social media profiles, it’s more of a standalone pyramid scheme.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Williamson is still based out of Florida in the US. As with ResClub, neither 8ghtX or Williamson are registered with the SEC.
